The European Meteorological Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) holds their Meteorological Satellite Conference for 2011 in Oslo. With regards to ocean surface topography, EUMETSAT operates the JASON-2 ocean altimetry satellite.
