For this event, the Local OCEANS Committee has selected four local topics of global interest. Sessions on Operational Oceanography, Coastal Restoration, Ocean Observing Systems and Lessons Learned from Recent Hurricanes will join the traditional topic areas to highlight recent issues, concerns, and solutions that extend around the globe.
