As a follow-up to the second GlobWave User Consultation Meeting that took place in Cork in October, the presentations from the meeting are now available on the portal. Feedback from the meeting is currently being collated, with the aim of focussing GlobWave further to meet the needs of the user community.

Work continues on the Annual Quality Control Report and is expected to be complete before the end of the year. The Quarterly Quality Control Report for Q3, 2011 has been submitted and uploaded to the portal.

Jean-François Piolle gave a presentation on GlobWave at the CFOSAT Science Meeting in Brest, France in November. It was well acknowledged in the meeting that GlobWave has set the standard for wave products and resources.

News items published on the portal include a useful article on 3rd party software tools that GlobWave users use to access GlobWave data, an update on the progress of the ERS SAR Wave Mode Mission Reprocessing and a note that the presentations from the User Meeting in Cork are now available on the portal.
